MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC Race mode

There is a race version of the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC

MV Agusta made a new version of the Dragster RR. It’s called the RC which stands for Reparto Corse (Racing Section). This new Dragster is a more extreme version of the RR suited for rider racetrack enthusiast. MV says “It borders with on hyper sports territory”. The engine weighs just 52 kg, it develops 140 HP and has a counter-rotating crankshaft in order to reduce inertia in corner entry.

Now the quick shifter works up and down the gear changes. The traction control offers 8 levels but you can also disengage it completely.

The Dragster RC is also built using a lot of carbon fiber in order to reduce weight and increase performance. This extreme naked bike is probably the dream of those racing enthusiasts who want a bike effective and fun on the racetrack but still with the look of a naked bike. Sadly, this won’t be for everyone regardless the price tag. In fact, MV Agusta decided to produce just 350 units. We tried the Dragster RR this year and we liked it a lot. The idea of giving it more racing flair is something that made us obviously curious. So if you are one of the lucky 350 send us an email…

Gasolist in chief, test-rider, and content writer. He began in the two-stroke era which makes him feel pretty old but gave him the chance to race everything from 125cc to 1000cc. All useless experiences when he got lost in the Sahara desert with nothing but a can of beans.
